Stress is your body's response to the events in your life. There are many physical changes that take place as you react to stress. For example, you heart rate goes up, your hands sweat, and you could even pass out in extreme cases. Everyone has stress in their lives. It is practically unavoidable. The key to stress is understanding what causes it and what you can do to minimize your body's reaction. Let's not get ahead of ourselves though. First, let's take a basic look at things that cause stress.
Your turn: Make a list of ten stressors in your life. Wait, don't get caught up in the lingo. Stressors simply means "things that cause stress". Be prepared to discuss your list in class.
