Thematic Learning

The Education Professions students have completed their thematic learning pack project.  The project required them to come up with a grade level appropriate theme and to create related lesson plans and activities that address a skill or content area need.

Below are pictures of this years projects.  The box and guide depict the theme of the lessons.  Inside the guide are student developed lessons geared towards Math, Science, Reading, and Music.

Chicken Quesadillas

Some basics you will need to know:

How to slice and cube the chicken breast...
Cooking the chicken...
Quesadillas from start to finish..

Things to think about:
  1. Which is better?  Putting the spices the raw chicken or cooked?  Why?
  2. Which is better?  Cooking the breast whole or diced?
  3. If you said diced, does the size of the pieces matter?  How so?
  4. Turn to your neighbor and explain to them how you will build they quesadilla.
